-::Campinas, São Paulo::-
It’s Saturday, February 21st, 2009 -- as the engines kick into gear, there is a rush and we are off! That’s right! We have just lifted off the ground in Porto Alegre and are anticipating our destination -- Campinas, SP. As Sis. Nara, Sis. Josangela, and myself sat back for the flight, we seen God’s beautiful creation from a different angle.

My ears just popped, you guessed it -- Campinas here we come! After getting our luggage, Pastor Jacob and Bro. Claude picked us up and took us to our hotel. Upon checking into our room we find that we have VERY little time to prepare ourselves for service with Bishop Cleve and his family.
What a precious group of ladies and pastor’s wives had gathered for the afternoon service. As we all sat and listened to Sis. Nara share information about her group “AMAI”, everyone was encouraged and left knowing that our labors here on earth are worth whatever we had to endure. Any pain we undergo is worth the gain!

This service finished so beautifully with each lady finding a partner and praying with them.

Preceding the evening service, we were participants of some “apostolic” fellowship accompanied with a wonderful lunch.

As prayer initiated, it wasn’t long before the saints of God began to unit themselves together and service began. Amidst the heat, it was refreshing to have a sweet presence of God hover over us as Pastor Andre Dias preached on, “When I Am Weak, He is Strong”.

As the word went forth and met the response of the people, God reassured many hungry, thirsty, weary, and faithful saints that He is coming back and we will be “victorious” over our adversary, the Devil.

Leaving that service with a renewed mind, we were given the opportunity to visit Bro. Claude’s home for a meal -- ‘delicious’ I might add! Above all, it was surely a treat to be able to see a little bit of the work of God in Campinas. Bishop Cleve and Sis. Rosangela are doing a wonderful job! Thanks to the Apostolic Churches of Brazil, who are holding the bar high, keeping focused and preparing a CHURCH that is the ‘apple’ of HIS eye!
