Another unusual chapter of Nazi history has gained world headlines this week here in a small Brazilian town called Cândido Godoi, RS. All because of two facts:

The first being that the Nazi death doctor Joseph Mengele lived in this region of Brazil for the final period of his life as he fled relentless Israeli bounty hunters.  In fact he died in Brazil (peacefully in his sleep) sometime in the nineties.  But what did he do during those unaccounted years?  No one really knows.  This, in turn, brings the second fact to the forefront.

The small town of Cândido Godoi has the highest percentage (per capita) of twins in the world!  And most of them are blond headed and blue eyed!  Plus… there are strong suspicions that Joseph Mengele ALSO LIVED for a period of his life (early sixties) in Cândido Godoi.  Do the unusual coincidences add up?  Is there truth to the whirlwind of gossip that he genetically modified the reproduction process of young couples in this small forgotten town in Brazil?  We may never know…  

It is not secret fact, however, that the Hitler and his “sick” doctors deeply desired to propagate the pure Aryan blood line for posterity.  They REALLY believed in what they were doing!  And made every effort to assure their “final” success, even after their death!

All of these headlines caused me to think about our efforts of propagating the Gospel… the real TRUE Gospel.  How many TWINS have we “produced” of the vision, drive, doctrine, etc. of our Apostolic pioneers?  The grand sum is not a comforting number!

Looking at the facts with cold reasoning, it seems that some are not producing many TWINS but rather a few weird monsters, resultant of their “genetically modified” preaching! 

Suddenly (after a generation of preaching) we are seeing the sprinkling of the real coat colors of some so called Apostolics.  I refer to the ones that rubbed shoulders with the pioneer leaders of True Pentecostal and claimed alliance to that Truth… until death! Yet, walking into their churches today no twins are to be seen. All you can find is second generation versions of THEIR genetically modified monsters (I refer to the youth sector of many Pentecostal churches)!  These monsters, in turn, will reproduce another third generation of… “what is that!?!” type Pentecostals.

We have probably lost the battle, much like Noah while building the ark, in the sense there will likely not be a worldwide revival of Apostolic Doctrine.  Yet, we must NOT just stand around wringing our hands at the Pentecostal disgrace we see on many fronts!

Let’s get to work doing our part to produce TWINS of pure Apostolic Doctrine pioneers!  Never forgetting that we are PLANTERS and WATERERS of God’s Truth.  He, God, is the INCREASER!
