It is a well know fact that all successful advertising is a result of massive testing of wording and images. Every word is carefully studied and every image tailored to produce generous profit returns.

Have you ever wondered what God uses to “test” your inner heart settings? He uses a laboratory called Temptation!

More than that, it appears, according to Apostle James, that the laboratory does not directly “belong” to God (James 1:13)! It is almost as if the laboratory is managed by the devil, becoming an independent source of raw spiritual data!

While God does not produce most of the temptation tests used in the lab of life… it cannot be deigned: temptation is an incredible mechanism that God uses to test your mindset under live-fire conditions.

The spiritual data gathered from your “temptations” will decide toward which prize your eyes are set: the higher ground of continued communion with Christ (“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation… he shall receive the crown of life… Ja. 1:12)… or a lower level of worldly love and lewdness attracted to secondary values (every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed… Ja. 1:14).

You will be rewarded accordingly.

True enough, God does not allow an overload of temptation… the gross pressure level of your temptation is restricted to your maximum internal structural capacity. In plain English: you cannot cop out claiming that you were OVER-TEMPTED! There is no such thing:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able…” –I Co. 10:13a-

Even the heroes of faith (Hb. 11:37) had temptation factored into their lives: Not only did they have to pray about overcoming the pain of pelting stones and sharp swords; they also had to deal with temptation! TEMPTATION! Yes, temptation was a primary part of the trial of their faith. Obviously they passed with flying colors. Will you?

The “T” laboratory may be designed by the devil to bring the worse out of all of us… but it is NOT always successful! You CAN be an overcomer!

And even for those that do partially succumb to the “T” forces felt so strongly in the lab of life, there is good news!

You see, God does not always accept the lab results as final… The lab manager does not want you to know, but the truth of the matter is: God does have another attribute called mercy! And because of this special mercy gift, God usually gives sinful man another chance (through repentance) to pass the tests of life.

However, should you be benefited by an override of negative results… beware, you will be subjected AGAIN to another stress test in the “T” Lab… hopefully, the settings of your heart will be totally inclined to Christ.
