As the sun sets on the final chapters of civilization (as we know it), the shadows of the devil loom longer across our paths To the unprepared saint that translates into pure terror.

In reality, true believers know that satan’s grip on God’s redeemed weakens every day as we approach the Rapture moment Seeing prophecy through a Church viewpoint the saints are strengthening as that mighty momentous event approaches Again, the indwelling Holy Ghost empowers us to see the devil as the prophet Isaiah describes him: they that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee and consider thee saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms?” (Is 14:16) You see, the setting sun of time does not make the devil bigger it makes his shadow longer! He LOOKS bigger!

The devil has become the terror of weak saints as they see his long shadow chasing them down the hallways of their nightmares Job describes such feelings like this: the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me and that which I was afraid of is come upon me.”(Job 3:25)

This insight came to life this morning when I was told of a young lady that has a partial revelation of God’s power, but has not implemented spiritual protection against the wiles of the devil According to the report, she awoke during the night suffocated by satan As she tried to bow beside her bed in prayer the devil began chasing her in her house Her husband watched astonished not knowing what was happening as she ran from room to room begging the devil to quit chasing her! When morning relief arrived, scattered Bible pages were evidence that the battle was lost Needless to say, she was still terrified and frightened as she described what happened Her words: I was chased by a shadow.”

At one time or another we all have been chased by shadows Yes, and some of us ran down the aisles of life, chased by darkness of fear from the unknown

Now, however, the shadows are longer and darker Yet, according to the Bible we are stronger today than ever before: where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” (Ro. 5:20) We are the Rapture generation!

The devil trying to flee from the brightness of His coming and he wants to chase you away too!
There is but one way to change the paradigm of fear that is sweeping over our generation: Stop running from shadows! LOOK THE ENEMY IN THE EYE! Only then will you see that he was nothing more than a long shadow cast by a midget of fear.

Reverse that shadow of fear by looking toward your redemption!

The Apostle James prescribes the formula: Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”(Ja 4:7) To paraphrase

Stop running turn to face him shine that Light on him watch the devil run (look carefully he’s a small critter).
